wehr nature center, whitnall park, 9701 w.college ave. franklin, wi 53132.milwaukee country. stand at the wehr nature center sign at the south end of the parking lot. note the visitors center directly ahead of you. there are six different trails that you can take to enjoy the nature center area. start walking to the north east. take the first path on the right and walk on the woodchip path to the lake. proceed north to the dam and have a seat. you are facing the lake to the south with the dam on your left. take the path on your right and proceed north. note the split rail fence on your right. forty five paces. the letterbox is in the triangle formed by the end of the split rail fence. a piece of tree bark covers the letterbox. you can continue around the lake. enjoy your time at the wehr nature center. jimshathom@aol.com
